Beaver Observation Walk with Ben Goldfarb
Join journalist Ben Goldfarb, author of 'Eager: The Surprising, Secret Life of Beavers and Why They Matter,' for a beaver observation walk around Snow Mountain Ranch. Ben will help interpret the recent beaver activity in and around the south branch of Cowiche Creek. We will try to get inside the minds of one of nature's most remarkable engineers to appreciate their engineering decisions and their positive ecological impacts.
The walk will take place on March 12, between 3p - 4:30pm. The walk will be short - only about two miles. But please dress warmly and wear footwear appropriate for wet and possibly muddy hiking.
NOTE: Space is limited for this event. Sign-ups will begin on February 15 and be capped at the first 22 registrants.
